The parade was at night, and somewhere in the ballpark of 100,000 people carried brightly lit lanterns through the streets. And there were amazing floats. It was awesome. Here's a short video of the one of the coolest floats, which actually breathed fire:

Lantern Festival
Last weekend we saw a parade in celebration of Buddha's birthday. I know, I know -- in the States we don't so much as have a picnic for him, but darn it we should. Buddha is just too cool not to, right? Anyhow, the Koreans know how to party for Buddha.
